Overview
Since launching its research program in 2017, Sentinel North has been pushing the boundaries of knowledge and helping to strengthen Université Laval’s position as a leader in interdisciplinary transformative research.
Over the past year, Sentinel North’s scientific output, as measured by the number of peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers, has increased by 45%. Ongoing efforts are being made to ensure that all of these high-impact outputs are available through open access.

Using Sentinel North articles published between 2017 and 2020, the interdisciplinarity of the research program was measured through the development of a new visualization approach. With this approach, the exceptional performances of the research teams in achieving interdisciplinary integration in their articles were captured.
